Learn About The Cut Golf Course

The Cut is one of Australia’s leading public access golf courses and visitors are encouraged to make a booking and come and enjoy what we trust will be a great golfing experience.

We can offer a championship layout of the highest order, a friendly and genuinely warm welcome and some outstanding facilities both on and off the course.

We welcome our visitors with the same warmth as we do our members. Why? Because there’s a good chance these new faces will be our members of the future, they just don’t quite realise it when they walk through our door for the first time!

The Cut has a wonderful course that is widely regarded as one of the best layouts in Australia. There is no other course in WA so close to our beautiful coastline. Visitors should contact the club in advance to secure a booking and avoid disappointment.

History of Unique Location

Scientific evidence in the late 1980’s confirmed that the Peel Inlet and the Harvey Estuary were developing severe algal blooms, so the State Government decided to cut a channel to the Indian Ocean, allowing regular flushing of both waterways.

The result for the wider community was the creation of an outdoor and water sports mecca offering both open ocean and calm inland waterways, while golfers gained one of Australia’s most extraordinary locations at The Cut.
